Strategy Business Analyst (VIE) (Energy Markets)

Location: Oslo, Norway; the position is based in Oslo and starts in January 2027.

What you will do

• Analyse energy markets, customer needs and commercial opportunities through research, client meetings and conferences.
• Monitor competitors, products and services; conduct screening analyses and prepare departmental reporting.
• Develop spreadsheets, presentations and recommendations that communicate findings and proposed actions.
• Analyse business performance, identify improvements and support actionable solutions.
• Participate in strategy updates, M&A activities and meetings with departments, partners and potential business targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, computer science or a related field.
• At least one successful internship or work experience in energy, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, presentations and project management.
• Fluent English required.
• Interest in energy economics, power markets and the energy sector.
• Strong planning, organisational, problem-solving, communication and multitasking skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
