What you will do

• Monitor custom security tooling for real-time alerts and suspicious activity.
• Triage, investigate, document, and escalate security incidents using established playbooks.
• Perform in-depth log analysis across customer environments and investigate anomalous behavior.
• Support incident containment and remediation while collaborating with internal teams.
• Improve detection content by identifying gaps, false positives, and tuning opportunities.
• Assist with threat hunting and the onboarding and operationalization of new security tools and processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on alert triage experience in a SOC, MSP, MSSP, or internal security team.
• Ability to use KQL to query sign-in, audit, and hunting data independently.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security knowledge, including authentication flows, conditional access, OAuth, app consent, mailbox permissions, delegation, and audit trails.
• Practical understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and identity-led attacks against Microsoft 365.
• Sound judgment when evaluating evidence and communicating conclusions.
• Clear, concise written English for technical audiences under time pressure.
