Senior Game Developer (Unity/C#)

Location: Remote within CET +/-2h, with hiring locations including Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bucharest, Helsinki, Istanbul, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Krakow, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Malta, Milan, Stockholm, Tallinn, Tbilisi, and Warsaw.

What you will do

• Develop client-facing features for Paper.io 2, focusing on UI, animations, and polish.
• Improve core gameplay and develop new meta features.
• Enhance and refine existing game systems.
• Contribute to game design decisions, flesh out feature details, and oversee testing.
• Revise the game based on player feedback while collaborating with a senior multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and Unity.
• Proven experience developing successful mobile games.
• Strong problem-solving skills focused on optimization and performance.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Creative, hands-on approach and strong commitment to quality.

Nice to have

• Specialized expertise in animation, particle systems, shaders, architecture, performance optimization, or networking.
• Good understanding of the casual mobile game market.
