Contract Golang Software Engineer (Remote Europe)

Location: Remote, EU-based, with GMT timezone alignment

What you will do

• Build innovative digital products as part of a client engineering team.
• Design scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant backend architectures.
• Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and SaaS platforms.
• Work with cloud environments, distributed systems, and modern infrastructure.
• Deploy and operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply testing strategies, including TDD, and optimize system performance.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong backend engineering skills.
• Go as a primary or preferred programming language.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of APIs, backend services, SaaS platforms, distributed systems, Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Strong testing, TDD, performance optimization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in the EU and able to work in the GMT timezone.
