Intern Software Engineer (Embedded Benchmarking & Thermal Characterization)

What you will do

• Translate customer benchmarking requests and use cases into test scenarios and measurement plans.
• Execute power, performance, and thermal benchmarking on NXP i.MX platforms.
• Develop and run bare-metal test applications for thermal and performance analysis.
• Collect, process, and analyze data from onboard sensors and laboratory equipment.
• Assist with automation scripts, debugging, technical reporting, and presentation of findings.

Requirements

• Basic programming knowledge in C and Python.
• Understanding of embedded systems, computer architecture, and microcontrollers or processors.
• Fundamental electronics knowledge, including sensors, voltage, current, and measurement equipment.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ARM-based processors, JTAG, serial consoles, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
• Experience with laboratory measurements, data acquisition, benchmarking, validation, or characterization.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, performance metrics, and data visualization tools.
