AI Infrastructure Engineer Intern (AI)

What you will do

• Collect, clean, normalize, and sanitize large-scale chip design datasets from diverse sources.
• Build and maintain scripts and pipelines for automated data extraction and transformation.
• Parse JSON, CSV, Parquet, logs, and domain-specific EDA file formats.
• Navigate codebases and directory structures to locate and extract relevant data.
• Use SQL and Python-based tools to prepare model-ready datasets in collaboration with researchers and engineers.
• Document data sources, transformation logic, and dataset versions in shared repositories.

Requirements

• Advanced BSc student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on Python experience with pandas and NumPy.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with structured and semi-structured data.
• Practical experience cleaning, normalizing, and sanitizing real-world data.
• Ability to navigate codebases and filesystems, parse multiple file formats, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Git fluency, including reading commit history, reviewing diffs, and working with versioned repositories.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Airflow, dbt, Spark, or other data pipeline tools.
• Basic familiarity with machine learning concepts, feature quality, and train/test leakage.
• Curiosity about reverse-engineering undocumented data and uncovering relationships across datasets.
