Principal I, Legal Counsel (Privacy)

hirify.global operates an e-commerce platform and delivery services, including Rocket Delivery and Rocket Overseas, and is expanding its business in Taiwan.

What you will do

• Provide privacy legal opinions and conduct privacy legal risk assessments.
• Review contracts and DPAs and maintain the contract inventory.
• Review and update privacy and data protection laws, regulations, policies, and plans.
• Manage data subject rights, privacy incidents, government correspondence, and privacy reviews.
• Support Privacy Impact Assessments, privacy monitoring, and internal audits.
• Conduct legal reviews of AI use cases.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a valid lawyer license and bar admission.
• 5–10 years of legal experience in privacy, GDPR, or related areas, in a law firm or in-house legal role.
• Native Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
