Operations Manager (HVACR)

Location: Suzhou, China; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and people.
• Develop and execute the plant operational strategy, production schedules, capacity plans, and manpower plans.
• Build a high-performance manufacturing culture through Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Daily Management, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Management, and waste elimination.
• Manage operational KPIs including OEE, productivity, labor efficiency, inventory, on-time delivery, scrap, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality while developing supervisors and frontline leaders.
• Support NPI, product transfer, capacity expansion, change management, benchmarking, and operational cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of manufacturing experience, including 5 or more years in production management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership experience managing large manufacturing teams and developing organizational capabilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Daily Management Systems, and Value Stream Management.
• Experience with manufacturing KPIs, structured root-cause analysis, corrective actions, data-driven decision-making, and change management.
• Fluent written and spoken English required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is also required.

• HVACR manufacturing experience.
• Experience with digitalization and visualization in manufacturing operations.
