Consultant (Payments)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Deliver advisory consulting engagements for hirify.global clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
• Conduct research using hirify.global, partner, client, and subject-matter-expert resources to identify best practices and relevant insights.
• Analyze and validate client, market, competitive, process, policy, and environmental information to support strategic decisions.
• Develop solutions and recommendations addressing client objectives and improving performance.
• Create client-ready deliverables, workshop materials, interview guides, data requirements, concepts, and frameworks.
• Contribute to VCA intellectual property, standardized offerings, knowledge development, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of full-time experience in management consulting, banking, payments, or financial services.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, structured thinking, client engagement, research, analysis, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with customer journeys, workshop facilitation, process improvement, solution evaluation, and preparing consulting deliverables.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources with a high standard of accuracy.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, subject-matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues in different locations.
• Technical proficiency with GenAI tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
