Intermediate Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, review, and support software solutions.
• Build applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle technologies, web services, Vue, Git, Jenkins, Red Hat Linux, and DevOps tools.
• Provide guidance, code reviews, and technical support to software engineers.
• Coordinate requirements, delivery activities, project tasks, and priorities with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in application support and the on-call roster when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar software engineering role.
• Proficiency in at least one software language and development methodology.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Good communication, teamwork, and willingness to develop technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications or training.
