Polish Operator - 2nd Shift (Must Be Able to Train on 1st Shift) (Aerospace)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite, 2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM. Must be able to train on 1st shift.

What you will do

• Inspect manufactured parts for defects and material-handling damage.
• Clean, deburr, polish, grit blast, and grind parts using files, wire brushes, buffing cloths, Dremels, die grinders, and other abrasive tools.
• Mount and change abrasive tooling, including rubberized abrasives and bench-grinder wheels.
• Deburr tube surfaces, grind weld beads, and use Flex-hone and compressed air according to operational instructions.
• Operate a grit-blast cabinet and maintain consistent, punctual attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must pass a respirator medical evaluation and fit test before performing duties and annually thereafter.
• Must be able to wear a respirator for an average of 8 hours per day.
• Close vision, ability to adjust focus, and reliable, predictable attendance.
