Location: Bristol, United Kingdom; customer sites across South West England with travel up to 100% of the time

What you will do

  • Perform fault diagnosis, repairs, preventative maintenance, modifications, installations, and decommissions for diagnostic medical equipment.
  • Service Immunoassay, Chemistry, and Haematology analysers, as well as automated track systems.
  • Represent Beckman Coulter on customer sites and maintain equipment to high safety and performance standards.
  • Resolve technical issues and help customers maximize instrument usage.
  • Build product, industry, and service knowledge through a personal development plan.

Requirements

  • Field Service experience in a laboratory or comparable environment servicing diagnostic instrumentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills with proven customer-focused service experience.
  • BSc, HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to customer sites up to 100% of the time.
  • Availability to participate in a planned on-call rota for out-of-hours remote customer support.

Nice to have

  • Experience with instrumentation software, firmware modifications, and upgrades.
  • Experience using service reporting software.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations and compliance requirements.
