Service Technician Trainee (Electromechanical)

What you will do

• Repair hirify.global printers to electronic board level and provide emergency maintenance for customer equipment.
• Refurbish hirify.global products for certified pre-owned equipment sales.
• Diagnose, test, and resolve equipment issues with a high degree of autonomy.
• Maintain failure data records and communicate technical issues to engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other groups.
• Process parts orders, shipment records, loan-equipment documentation, and customs documents.
• Track loan equipment and perform bi-yearly stock audits while completing product and quality training.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems after training.
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and documented processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with internal and external customers.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and assignments, with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• At least one year of electro-mechanical technician experience.
• Associate degree in Electronics.
• Experience using tools and electronic test equipment.
