What you will do
- Translate global and regional Health & Safety strategy into an actionable country roadmap.
- Lead risk identification, assessment, and control across country operations.
- Build a proactive safety culture through leadership accountability, employee engagement, and behavioural change.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and prevention of recurrence.
- Coach and develop Health & Safety personnel and operational leaders.
- Integrate Health & Safety into acquisitions, projects, operational changes, and multi-site activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10 years of Health & Safety management experience, including corporate leadership in complex or multi-site environments.
- Experience with site and laboratory operations setup.
- Ability to lead change, influence senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to ensure compliance with local regulations and SGS standards.
Nice to have
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
