IT Cloud Consulting/Infrastructure Specialist (Cloud): Designing, implementing, migrating, and integrating VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization solutions for infrastructure transformation and modernization projects with an accent on Windows and Linux systems, cloud migration, networking, and storage integration. Focus on troubleshooting complex infrastructure environments, consolidating platforms, automating operations with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code, and meeting availability, performance, and security standards.

What you will do
- Design, implement, migrate, and integrate VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization solutions.
- Support infrastructure transformation, platform consolidation, and technology modernization projects.
- Implement and manage Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and SAN storage integrations.
- Manage virtualization networking and public or private cloud migrations, including on-premises-to-cloud transitions.
- Analyze technical and timeline risks, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, document solutions, and prepare handoff materials.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in x86 server or application migration and related IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong experience with VMware vCenter/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, and virtualization migrations.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, PowerShell, virtualized networking, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and SAN storage.
- Experience with infrastructure migration or technology transformation projects and public or private cloud management.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Intermediate to advanced English is required for global communication and documentation.
Nice to have
- VMware migrations to Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI, Nutanix AHV, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, or VMware HCX experience.
- Automation tools and Infrastructure as Code experience.
- VMware VCP-DCV, Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or ITIL Foundation certification.
