Data Engineering Group Manager

What you will do

• Lead Data Platform, Backend, and Infrastructure engineering teams.
• Define and execute the data engineering strategy for an enterprise-scale data ecosystem.
• Oversee high-scale batch and real-time data pipelines processing diverse internal and external data sources.
• Manage, coach, develop, and hire Data Engineers and QA members.
• Deliver backend data solutions using high-scale databases and modern data technologies.
• Improve platform performance, cloud utilization, infrastructure costs, monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident management.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience leading Data Engineering teams.
• At least 5 years of ETL development experience in large-scale data warehouse environments.
• Experience with SSIS, DBT, Airflow, Flink or Spark, Elasticsearch, and data backend development.
• Experience with Python, Java, or a similar programming language.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services and CI/CD methodology.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IS Engineering, or a related field; high English proficiency required.
