What you will do
- Lead and mentor a test-automation team while serving as the primary contact for the US-based engineering team.
- Develop and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests and backend and service-level automated tests.
- Analyze QA, UAT, and production bug escapes with customer support and QA teams.
- Create automated tests to reproduce reported bugs, verify fixes, and close coverage gaps.
- Enhance test frameworks with reusable helpers, shared code, and AI-based testing capabilities.
- Establish coding standards, test-automation practices, peer reviews, and technical approval workflows.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering, quality engineering, and test-automation experience.
- Strong Python skills focused on backend and API-layer testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, PyTest, API testing, and React testing contexts.
- Technical leadership experience, including leading and mentoring a small distributed engineering team.
- Experience with engineering standards, code review workflows, and AI-assisted tooling for test development.
- Experience with regulated, clinical-trial, or healthcare software and excellent written and spoken English.
