QA Automation Engineer (Playwright/API): Building reliable automated test coverage for web applications, APIs, and backend services with an accent on regression, integration, performance, and data validation. What you will do
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and enhancements.
- Perform manual regression, integration, API, functional, and performance testing to validate release readiness.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated test coverage for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Work with developers to identify defects, validate implementations, and verify fixes.
- Provide QA approval for promotion through staging and production environments.
- Investigate failures and quality risks using SQL, database analysis, application logs, and cloud monitoring tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience focused on test automation.
- Proficiency in Python, C#, or TypeScript.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar browser automation frameworks.
- Experience testing HTTP APIs and with performance or load-testing tools such as JMeter.
- Knowledge of unit-testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, or NUnit.
- Strong SQL, troubleshooting, software engineering, cloud computing, and microservices knowledge, including familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, and S3.
