What you will do

• Monitor and perform in-depth analysis of security alerts using the CrowdStrike platform.
• Handle incidents across Windows, Mac, and Linux, including malware analysis and remote remediation of malicious activity.
• Develop and improve processes for incident detection, triage, countermeasure execution, and security operations.
• Prepare high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.
• Contribute to security process and procedure improvements and demonstrate industry thought leadership through blogs, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of incident handling, computer forensic analysis, systems administration, malware analysis, incident remediation, or programming and scripting.
• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations involving targeted threats such as advanced persistent threats, organized crime, or hacktivists.
• Knowledge of forensic analysis tools and the ability to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
• Understanding of system internals and countermeasure and remediation execution.
• Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis and create tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations.
• Programming or scripting experience with PowerShell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.
• At least one relevant security certification, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems and the ability to handle high-pressure situations productively and professionally.
• BA or BS, MA or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or relevant work experience.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
