Senior Software Developer (Frontend)

Location: Remote, based in Cluj or Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Design architectures, prototypes, and technical proposals aligned with product and platform strategy.
• Influence technical direction through RFCs, architecture reviews, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration.
• Define and evolve the internal developer platform, including Nx monorepos, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve developer experience, SDLC quality, observability, monitoring, reliability, and incident response.
• Lead initiatives from design through production, breaking large projects into incremental deliverables.
• Mentor developers on architecture, engineering practices, and responsible AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with impact beyond a single team.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Nx monorepo architecture at scale.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD systems for multiple teams, including GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Experience with distributed, cloud-native, SaaS or multi-tenant platforms, preferably on AWS.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, HTTP APIs, and code quality practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development, mentoring, architecture influence, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS-based cloud platforms.
• Experience with Angular, RxJS, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, WCAG 2.1, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
