TL;DR

Data Engineer - AWS (AWS/Data Platforms): Building and optimizing scalable data platforms, pipelines, and data warehouses on AWS to support analytics, AI, and business-critical solutions with an accent on Python, SQL, ETL, and cloud data services. Focus on integrating multiple data sources, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and applying Generative AI technologies such as Amazon Bedrock and LLMs.

Location: Poland; remote work arrangement; valid visa for Poland required

What you will do

Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable AWS data platforms, data warehouses, and pipelines.
Develop ETL processes and integrate data from multiple sources.
Analyze data challenges and recommend effective technical solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues across data environments.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and estimate project delivery effort.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver data projects and provide guidance on data engineering best practices.

Requirements

Professional experience in a data- or cloud-focused role such as Data Engineer, ML Engineer, Python Developer, or Cloud Engineer.
Strong Python and SQL skills, including experience with pandas, NumPy, or boto3.
Hands-on experience with Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon Redshift.
Practical interest or experience in Generative AI, Amazon Bedrock, large language models, or cloud-based AI solutions.
Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
Fluent or professional Polish and English, written and verbal; valid visa for Poland required.

Nice to have

Experience with Amazon SageMaker, Apache Spark, or machine learning workflows.
Familiarity with AI agents, autonomous workflows, RAG, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified Data Engineer.
