Data Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services.
• Build cloud data solutions with S3, AWS Glue, and Athena.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries on distributed data platforms such as Trino, Presto, or Databricks.
• Develop data transformation processes with Python, Scala, or PySpark.
• Integrate enterprise and laboratory systems, including SAP, GLIMS, and Veeva.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, efficient processing, and continuous improvement in collaboration with data, IT, and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, especially S3, Glue, and Athena.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Trino, Presto, or Databricks.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or PySpark.
• Experience integrating ERP and laboratory systems.
• Fluent English required. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are also expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile and CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of GxP and data integrity requirements.
• Previous experience with SAP ERP.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or life sciences.
