Intern (Trading)

Location: Gift City, Gandhinagar, India; hybrid working opportunities available. Work includes morning and evening shifts during Asian market hours.

What you will do

• Supervise automated trading systems during Asian market hours across multiple markets and trading teams.
• Monitor live trading for risk, compliance, unusual behavior, and abnormal market conditions.
• Alert risk managers and trading teams to intraday issues and coordinate real-time resolution with engineering teams, brokers, and exchanges.
• Document monitoring procedures and record production issues as they occur.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in trading or trade support.
• Comfort working morning and evening shifts.
• Working knowledge of risk controls for equities, futures, options, and FX markets.
• Experience with high-frequency automated trading strategies and understanding of exchange-specific rules and procedures.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, independent working ability, and business-fluent English.
• SQL, Python, and Linux experience is preferred.
