TL;DR
Digital Transformation & User Experience Tech Lead (React/Node.js): Leading frontend architecture and development for a Backoffice GUI platform, including REST APIs, BFF services, CI/CD pipelines, legacy modernization, and application security with an accent on design systems, technical standards, and AI-assisted development. Focus on defining frontend strategy, securing and modernizing production applications, and coordinating delivery across international engineering and business teams.
Location: Based in Oslo, Norway or Porto, Portugal, with opportunities to travel to other locations.

What you will do
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of the Backoffice GUI platform.
- Define frontend standards, shared libraries, design systems, and information architecture.
- Own BFF and REST API design, data contracts, service boundaries, and backend integrations.
- Own build, release, deployment pipelines, and quality gates covering automated testing, code review, and security scanning.
- Guide application security, AI-assisted development practices, legacy modernization, incident response, and production stability.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with international development, architecture, UX, project management, and business teams.
Requirements
- Senior software engineering experience with technical leadership of development teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in React and Node.js, including REST APIs and backend-for-frontend services.
- Experience with legacy frontend modernization, API design, CI/CD, automated delivery, and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Knowledge of application security, secure API practices, dependency risks, and supply-chain security.
- Experience with frontend standards, design systems, shared component libraries, and information architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and sound judgment about their application.

- Understanding of IAM concepts and application architecture.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling.
