TL;DR
Business Analyst Intern - TX, WI (Credit & Collections): Supporting requirements gathering, process documentation, workshops, data analysis, and testing for a large-scale utility CIS modernization program with an accent on credit and collections processes and future-state solution design. Focus on documenting as-is and to-be processes, maintaining requirements traceability, coordinating with business and functional stakeholders, and validating enterprise system capabilities.
Location: Based in Boulder, Colorado, with a hybrid schedule, in-person commuting, and occasional collaboration at the Denver work location. Minimal travel of 10–15% is expected.
Salary: $16.60–$19.50 per hour

What you will do
- Gather, document, and organize business requirements for Credit & Collections processes and system capabilities.
- Support requirements and functional design workshops by preparing materials and recording decisions, notes, and action items.
- Document current-state and future-state processes and maintain requirements traceability.
- Compile and summarize data for analysis, decision-making, and status reporting.
- Coordinate with subject-matter experts, functional consultants, and other program towers.
- Support testing by documenting test scenarios and tracking validation results.
Requirements
- Current sophomore-level student or higher, enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Project Management.
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year while commuting to the designated work location under the hybrid work policy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through in a fast-paced team environment.
Nice to have
- Coursework or projects involving business process analysis, requirements gathering, or data analysis.
- Interest in the energy or utility industry and large-scale technology transformation.
- Familiarity with process mapping, flowcharting, or business analysis concepts.
- Exposure to SAP or other customer information and ERP platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools.
