Federal Tax Services Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Irvine, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

Salary: $35–$41 per hour

What you will do

• Support tax teams across accounting for income taxes, accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entities, private clients, and nonprofit organizations.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Apply tax regulations and accounting pronouncements to client work.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours and work toward a B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, at an accredited university.
• Accounting major.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
