Senior SoC Design Engineer (FPGA)

Location: Shanghai, China. Successful background and reference checks are required, along with satisfactory proof of the right to work in China.

What you will do

• Identify domain-specific solution and application requirements and define and develop the required IP.
• Integrate IP into SoCs and verify the complete implementation flow.
• Perform SoC-level functional verification and performance evaluation.
• Set up the board-level development environment and boot the SoC.
• Collaborate with software engineers on hardware/software co-verification and system debugging.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in ME, EE, CS, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in FPGA-related design.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and SoC design or digital/FPGA design.
• Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog, simulation tools such as Ncsim and ModelSim/QuestaSim, and system buses including AXI, AHB, and Wishbone.
• Strong independent problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• English written and verbal communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with RISC architectures and microarchitecture, including RISC-V or ARM.
• Experience with peripheral and legacy IP such as PCIe, SPI, I2C, or UART.
• Embedded programming in C.
• Experience with FPGA development flows.
