Senior Manager, Cloud and Connectivity Platform, Global IT Infrastructure (Azure)

What you will do

• Own the global Azure platform, including landing zones, policies, subscription strategy, tagging, identity, and access controls.
• Lead global network architecture across approximately 90 offices and 12 SD-WAN sites, including Azure vWAN, ExpressRoute, VPN, routing, and hub topology.
• Ensure cloud and network environments meet security, compliance, reliability, disaster recovery, availability, and cost-optimization standards.
• Establish FinOps, observability standards, SLAs, capacity planning, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Lead infrastructure projects from business case and planning through implementation, change management, and transition to operations.
• Manage the Cloud and Connectivity team, budget, managed service partners, suppliers, KPIs, SLAs, and ITIL-based governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in information systems infrastructure, cloud networking, and design.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure networking, SD-WAN, Cisco products, cloud environments, and infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading global teams, managing remote operations, working with international and Japanese IT partners, and coordinating stakeholders across regions.
• Strong knowledge of network security, vendor management, project management, ITIL practices, and infrastructure service delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English are required.

Nice to have

• Cisco and Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-700, or AZ-500.
• Experience with Azure Site Recovery, Azure IaaS and PaaS, AVD architecture, Windows systems, and workstations.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills for management audiences.
