What you will do

• Define Databricks architecture, engineering patterns, and reusable technical approaches for structuring workloads.
• Support data governance and the management lifecycle using Unity Catalog, metadata tagging, and catalogs.
• Evaluate and implement data quality monitoring and DQMS frameworks.
• Advise on orchestration trade-offs, specifically integrating Airflow with Databricks jobs.
• Establish DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and template-driven deployment.
• Define technical standards for naming conventions, repository structures, and governance guardrails.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Databricks experience in production delivery environments.
• Practical expertise with Airflow orchestration combined with Databricks.
• Proven experience with CI/CD for Databricks, including Git-based development and deployment automation.
• Experience with data quality and monitoring frameworks in modern data platforms.
• Ability to provide technical recommendations and evaluate the consequences of architectural choices.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Prague
