Registered Nurse, RN - Cardiovascular Center Suite (Cardiovascular Care)

Location: Tufts Medical Center, Massachusetts; onsite role with irregular hours and physical patient-care duties

Pay range: $43.01–$70.95 based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient- and family-centered care throughout admission and discharge.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions, treatments, medication administration, and health education.
• Coordinate care plans, interdisciplinary communication, patient and family meetings, and discharge transitions.
• Document care, patient responses, plan modifications, and treatments according to hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient-family satisfaction initiatives.
• Advocate for patients and families while collaborating with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Two years of acute care experience required; cardiac care experience preferred.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care across the lifespan.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and unpredictable clinical conditions, including emergencies, standing and walking, patient transfers, hazardous materials, and exposure to infectious substances.
