Salary: $135,000–$200,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and potential regional pay zone or complex-structure compensation.

What you will do
- Provide routine and medical vision care, prescribe medications and corrective eyewear, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, assess visual acuity and eye health, and evaluate medical histories.
- Order, interpret, and assess diagnostic tests including glaucoma testing, macular degeneration assessments, and OCT.
- Educate patients and store associates on eye health, contact lens care, disease management, and safety.
- Coordinate referrals and care plans with ophthalmologists, other healthcare professionals, pharmacists, clinics, and store management.
- Support Vision Center operations, staff development, customer service, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
- Current optometrist license in good standing in the state of practice.
- Ability to perform comprehensive examinations, prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, and document patient history and treatment plans.
- Ability to follow state, local, and federal healthcare regulations and Vision Center guidelines.
- Ability to work onsite in the Shrewsbury, Missouri Vision Center and collaborate with clinical and retail stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Completion of a PGY-1 program in family practice, low vision care, pediatric or geriatric optometry, or ocular disease.
