Senior Analytics Engineer (BI)

Location: Remote from anywhere in Mexico, with availability to travel to Mexico City for occasional office events.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions, including semantic models, dashboards, and standardized reports.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks, success metrics, and data-driven recommendations.
• Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to define requirements and prioritize BI initiatives.
• Improve data quality, metric consistency, documentation, and data governance with data engineering and data management teams.
• Optimize and automate recurring reporting and analytics workflows to improve reliability and self-service capabilities.
• Mentor analysts and business users in data interpretation, BI tools, and analytical best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a closely related field.
• Experience working with large datasets to build dashboards and analytical solutions.
• Proficiency with modern BI and data visualization tools, SQL, data modeling, semantic layer design, metrics-as-code patterns, and data governance.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver BI products with measurable business outcomes.
• Understanding of how structured data is consumed by AI systems and ML workflows.
