Assistant Designer - Lee Female Denim

What you will do

• Support the development and design of seasonal Lee Denim product lines and special projects.
• Develop product details including fabrics, trims, artwork, colors, and overall styling.
• Enter and track virtual and physical prototypes, lab dips, strike-offs, and handlooms.
• Build design presentations, decks, CAD sheets, development trackers, and 3D CADs.
• Create plaids and simple repeats for seasonal collections.
• Support fit sessions, prototype reviews, and milestone meetings by taking notes and coordinating administrative details.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, art, graphics, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Approximately one year of professional experience or training in apparel design.
• Hand-sketching and illustration skills, strong color sense, and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, multitasking, creativity, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with V-Stitcher and 3D design.
