Summer 2027 Engineering Intern

Location: Wilmington/Dover, Delaware, United States; the position may include travel.

Salary: $20.00–$23.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist with engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, visual aids, and technical documents.
• Support fieldwork, including site inspections, surveys, and GPS mapping.
• Research, collect, enter, interpret, and analyze technical data.
• Review submittals and technical documents for compliance with project requirements and prepare drafts.
• Prepare CAD and GIS drawings and documents.
• Update the cost-estimating database and maintain design and calculation templates.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to write effectively and communicate outcomes to clients and team members.
• Ability to travel as required by the position.

Nice to have

• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience.
