Analyst/Associate, Global Client Group (Broker Dealer)

Location: Santa Monica, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Source new opportunities through outbound calls and emails to financial advisors.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors to identify opportunities with broker-dealer advisors.
• Analyze portfolios and discuss key findings with clients.
• Answer the Financial Advisor hotline and resolve ad hoc investment and client service questions.
• Assist with investment-related marketing materials and charts.
• Build expertise in advisor business practices, capital markets research, and portfolio management applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
• 1–2 years of financial services experience, including internships.
• Strong analytical, quantitative problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and Access, with the ability to learn new programs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of employment.

Nice to have

• Intention to pursue investment-related education such as an MBA, CFA, or CFP.
• Solid understanding of Dimensional’s investment philosophy.
