Corporate Communications Internship (Insurance)

Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States; work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship is required

Rate of pay: $18.00 per hour

What you will do

• Write, edit, proofread, design, and manage company publications and bulletins.
• Create articles tailored to publication viewpoints and readership characteristics.
• Develop digital content and manage online platforms used to distribute publications.
• Coordinate deadlines and publication status with managers, authors, and printing resources.
• Research topics, contact relevant sources, verify facts, and prepare articles for publication.
• Research, write, and distribute press releases to media and other publications.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in college and entering the junior or senior year.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and interpret data.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
