PHP Software Engineer (Hungarian Speaking)

Location: Remote in Hungary; occasional offsite meetings may take place, but office attendance is not required.

What you will do

• Write technical specifications and documentation from business requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure and performant PHP code.
• Support engineers through code reviews, quality reviews, architecture discussions, and technical guidance.
• Debug production issues and improve system stability and uptime.
• Transform legacy systems into maintainable enterprise software using engineering standards and best practices.
• Improve AI-assisted engineering workflows and establish safe productivity guardrails.

Requirements

• Hungarian-speaking candidate.
• Professional software engineering experience with SOLID principles and Clean Code.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, or similar systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, cloud-native infrastructure, and telemetry or observability practices.
• Experience developing complex systems and high-volume transaction applications.
• Ability to document requirements clearly, work independently in a fully remote agile environment, and collaborate through code and design reviews.
