Azure Platform Engineer for APS (Azure)

What you will do

• Design and build self-service Azure capabilities for more than 400 internal DevOps teams.
• Develop reusable platform products, automation, templates, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Improve the developer experience by making Azure services easier, safer, and faster to consume.
• Embed security, compliance, policy, identity, networking, and governance controls into platform capabilities.
• Operate Azure platform services with a focus on reliability, observability, supportability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and other Azure platform teams to deliver enterprise-scale cloud capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platform services, managed services, and cloud-native patterns.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, private connectivity, identity, RBAC, Managed Identities, security controls, Azure Policy, governance, and compliance.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and/or ARM.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Scripting or programming skills in PowerShell, Python, C#, or Go.
• Experience operating business-critical cloud platform services and understanding monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale cloud platform principles.
• Experience building APIs, automation workflows, templates, or platform integration patterns.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and efficient Azure consumption.
