Senior Golang Engineer (iGaming)

What you will do

• Build and evolve scalable backend services in Go.
• Contribute to application architecture, infrastructure, and long-term backend evolution.
• Develop clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in peer reviews.
• Work with complex data flows and backend components while maintaining data integrity.
• Collaborate on technical discussions, estimation, planning, and delivery within a Scrum environment.
• Take ownership of development activities and organize day-to-day work independently.

Requirements

• Senior-level engineering background with 7+ years of commercial software development experience, including 4+ recent years focused primarily on Go.
• Professional experience with betting products is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of Go internals, including concurrency, data structures, memory allocation, and garbage collection.
• Strong relational database and SQL skills, including query troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, unit testing, and testable code design.
• Intermediate English and Upper-Intermediate Russian for daily communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial, transactional, or other data-sensitive systems.
• Experience with distributed microservice-based systems.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, or Hexagonal Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
