QS Engineer (Quality Management)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Participate in customer and internal audits to verify compliance with QMS, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, R&D, process engineering, sourcing, and QA teams to maintain product regulatory compliance.
• Control QMS document registration and revision status across internal departments, excluding engineering documents.
• Review the linkage between third- and fourth-level documents and related second-level procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide document-control awareness training to employees.

Requirements

• Degree in Materials Engineering, Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Demonstrated experience in quality or document control; 1–2 years is preferred.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of product regulatory requirements such as UL, RoHS, and REACH is preferred.
• Mandarin fluency is preferred for interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients.
