Industrial IT Systems Engineer (MedTech)

Salary: €60,000–€96,255 annually

What you will do

• Own assigned Industrial IT applications and maintain stable, secure, compliant, and reliable operations.
• Diagnose system issues and implement improvements that increase performance and availability.
• Perform configuration, monitoring, documentation, user management, patching, backup, and recovery activities.
• Coordinate system upgrades, integrations, and new Industrial IT application deployments with IT, engineering, and vendors.
• Plan and execute commissioning, testing, validation, and operational readiness activities.
• Participate in deviations, CAPAs, investigations, audits, continuous improvement, and a rotating weekend on-call service.

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience in Industrial IT, industrial automation, manufacturing IT, or a comparable technical environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with an Industrial IT focus, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, segmentation, and firewalls.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required.
• Strong Dutch proficiency at C1 level is preferred.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge, including GxP, GAMP, and qualification.
• Experience with LMS Pharma (SE Geoscada), particle monitoring platforms, AVEVA PI, or similar data historian solutions.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, backup and recovery, Industrial IT monitoring tools such as PRTG, and cybersecurity principles including NIS2, ISA-95, and the Purdue Model.
