Senior Software Engineer, Information Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise security solutions across cloud, endpoint, email, vulnerability management, and SIEM/SOAR domains.
• Implement cloud security controls and assessments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Administer endpoint and email security platforms, including Microsoft Defender solutions, and investigate related threats.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation validation, risk prioritization, metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Configure SIEM platforms, develop detection rules and KQL queries, integrate security telemetry, and support threat hunting and forensic investigations.
• Develop security automation and orchestration workflows while collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, application, and IT teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, or a related security engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security solutions in Microsoft-centric environments and across multiple security domains.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Understanding of networking, operating systems, identity and access management, authentication protocols, and security architecture.
• Experience integrating security solutions through REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, or comparable enterprise technologies, together with strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft security certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, or AZ-500.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Purview, or Intune.
• Experience with Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, MITRE ATT&CK, or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
