QA Automation Engineer (Kotlin)

What you will do

• Test web applications built on Creatio-based systems.
• Perform manual and automated testing across APIs, databases, backend services, and integrations.
• Extend and maintain the existing Kotlin-based API automation framework.
• Own end-to-end quality for assigned product areas and validate business rules, integrations, and data consistency.
• Participate in technical reviews, sprint planning, grooming, and requirements discussions to identify risks and clarify acceptance criteria.
• Analyze logs, database records, and system behavior to reproduce and document defects while collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in QA automation for backend- or API-focused systems.
• Practical Kotlin experience and the ability to contribute to existing automated test suites.
• Strong hands-on experience testing web applications, APIs, and microservices manually.
• Experience writing and running SQL queries for data validation.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, smoke, regression, functional, and integration testing.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify risks, and propose practical testing strategies.

Nice to have

• Experience testing CRM or BPM platforms, preferably Creatio.
• Experience testing applications for a financial institution.
• Experience writing UI automated tests.
