Engineer - Data Analyst (Power BI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and publish interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
• Analyze manufacturing, operational, and financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Write SQL queries in Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, validation, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers on reporting requirements and dbt staging and mart models.
• Document data definitions, metric calculations, and dashboard usage guides.
• Train and support business users in self-service analytics.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a data analyst, BI analyst, or reporting analyst, with a portfolio of stakeholder-facing dashboards and reports.
• Strong Power BI and Tableau skills, including calculated fields, LOD expressions, DAX measures, parameters, dynamic filters, row-level security, and performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of SQL for Snowflake, including joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and basic data transformation.
• Foundational dbt knowledge, including reading and modifying existing models and running commands for testing and documentation.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schemas and fact and dimension tables.
• Basic Python skills for data wrangling, automation, or analytics workflows.
