Senior Engineer - Data Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain dimensional data models in Snowflake using star and snowflake schemas.
• Build, test, document, and deploy dbt models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers.
• Design and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines that ingest data from ERP systems, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms.
• Develop Python automation scripts and data processing workflows using cloud-native services.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and costs through query tuning, warehouse monitoring, and efficient storage practices.
• Implement data quality validations, reconciliation, lineage documentation, testing, code reviews, and deployment activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role.
• Production experience with Snowflake and dbt, including data modeling, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and data transformation.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and API integration.
• Experience with cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, Git version control, and CI/CD concepts.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Power BI.
• Additional experience with Python and ETL concepts.
