Detection & Mitigation Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Identify, track, and mitigate sophisticated threats and abuse across hirify.global's platform in real time.
• Analyze attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures across evolving cyber campaigns.
• Build and configure detections using large-scale platform data and emerging technologies.
• Track campaigns with technical indicators of compromise and develop threat intelligence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to present and interact with security insights.
• Communicate actionable intelligence to technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience with data analysis, metadata analysis, or network traffic analysis.
• Understanding of the cyber threat landscape, cyber intelligence, threat actors, and their techniques.
• Experience using a comprehensive data analysis platform and configuring rules.
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to develop SQL queries.
• Python or other scripting experience.
• Ability to synthesize technical information and document it through graphical and verbal communication.
