TL;DR
Quality and Release Manager (iOS QA and Release Management): Owning quality strategy and end-to-end releases for the Raya iOS app with an accent on automated and manual testing, subscription and payment flows, and release health. Focus on defining release readiness, leading go/no-go decisions, managing phased rollouts and rollback or fix-forward processes, and building durable quality systems.

What you will do
- Own the QA strategy across automated and manual testing, including regression coverage for critical user flows.
- Manage the end-to-end iOS release process, including release trains, cut and freeze dates, App Store submission, phased rollouts, and rollback or fix-forward decisions.
- Define release readiness criteria and lead go/no-go decisions.
- Maintain the release calendar and quality scorecards covering crash rates, escaped defects, and release health.
- Run release retrospectives and convert incidents and escaped defects into durable process improvements.
- Coordinate third-party QA or crowdtesting vendors and evaluate the use of AI-assisted QA tooling.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software quality, release management, or engineering, including 3+ years managing people.
- Deep knowledge of the iOS App Store release lifecycle, including TestFlight, phased releases, expedited reviews, and rejection handling.
- Experience with iOS subscription and payment flows.
- Experience building mobile test automation strategies using real-device testing, feature flags, and progressive rollouts.
- Experience balancing automated and manual testing and managing third-party QA or crowdtesting vendors.
- Fluency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, strong knowledge of Git branching strategies for mobile releases, and clear written communication.
