Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina, United States; onsite warehouse and delivery work

What you will do

• Receive, verify, stock, stage, pick, pack, and ship warehouse materials and customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, wire-cutting equipment, and other warehouse machinery as required.
• Load and unload company and common-carrier vehicles while checking quantities, product types, and material condition.
• Drive delivery vans or box trucks for deliveries and pickups involving customers, branches, warehouses, and suppliers; no CDL is required.
• Complete vehicle inspections, delivery receipts, packing lists, manifests, inventory counts, and return inspections.
• Maintain warehouse and vehicle safety, cleanliness, servicing, and compliance with DOT, local, and state transportation regulations.

Requirements

• No experience required; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and minimum age of 21 required.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record reviews and meet driving-history requirements.
• Must obtain verification of a non-expired medical certificate within 30 days of hire when required by law.
• Basic computer, communication, organization, time-management, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to handle loads up to 26,000 GVW, work overtime as needed, and perform frequent physical warehouse and delivery duties.

Nice to have

• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of electrical products.
