Materials Project Management (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Forecast engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements and communicate demand to suppliers.
• Form and coordinate a Materials Core Team across buyers, planners, production control, and engineering.
• Create, release, and update project materials strategies and execute commercialization materials plans.
• Support sourcing, supplier selection, price and delivery negotiations, and supplier risk assessments.
• Manage materials change control, cost objectives, landed-cost targets, and key process indicators.
• Partner with engineering and quality teams to resolve supplier quality issues and escalate critical risks.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in materials or a related discipline, with basic knowledge of connected functions.
• Knowledge of materials, sourcing, manufacturing, and supplier management best practices.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources and exercise sound judgment.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional work and building consensus across engineering, quality, and supply-chain teams.
• Availability to work onsite in Bangalore, India.
