Snr Medical Science Liaison (Obesity)

Location: United Kingdom; national role based anywhere in the UK with frequent travel required

What you will do

• Support clinical trial start-up, site selection, enrollment, retention, execution, and close-out with medical and scientific expertise.
• Identify, map, and engage KOLs, investigators, clinical leaders, research centers, medical societies, and patient organizations.
• Lead peer-to-peer scientific exchange and communicate actionable scientific insights.
• Provide scientific guidance and training to investigators, site staff, clinical teams, and colleagues.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Medical, Access, regional teams, and other functions to align clinical and pre-launch priorities.
• Contribute to local product and therapeutic-area strategy while mentoring colleagues.

Requirements

• Scientific degree and relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience.
• Strong clinical trial expertise, especially in study start-up and recruitment.
• Knowledge of GCP and local regulations.
• Ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and lead scientific discussions with external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, decision-making, prioritization, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in metabolic diseases, particularly obesity or diabetes.
